Topics to be covered will be your self perception of Black empowerment and what it means. Exploring reasons behind Black empowerment challenges. Investigating how Black empowerment can be successfully achieved. Design and implement your Black empowerment personal success plan. Assess the outcomes of your Black empowerment success plan through social media networking groups.

Racism recovery retreat. Saturday 26 October 2024. 12.00pm. £7.50.
The racism recovery retreat is a brand new one day experience for victims/survivors of individual and institutional racism. This introductory retreat will provide a safe space for victims/survivors to openly disclose their experiences of racism and is led by person support associates, who are eager to help them recover from the impact of specific and general racism. The racism recovery retreat supports victims/survivors with recognising degrees of racism trauma; examines its ongoing damaging effects; provides group work opportunities for self-empowerment and also builds a new community of support and friendship.

Our new two hours per session, six week training course in empowering will help you to gain all of the essential skills needed to become an empoweror. The course structure consists of:
Week one:
